Our Story
The journey began in 1980, when Al Hajj Idris Miah, a visionary entrepreneur, laid the foundation of what would become a leading industrial group in Bangladesh. With a sharp business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics, he initially ventured into tobacco manufacturing, a thriving sector at the time.
However, as the company evolved, he recognized the need to diversify into more sustainable and socially impactful industries. Over the years, he shifted the company's focus entirely towards agriculture, food security, and industrial materials, establishing modern rice milling, dairy farming, fisheries, and brick production as the pillars of the business.
His leadership and strategic foresight transformed local industries, creating a strong foundation for long-term growth. However, in 2020, during the global COVID-19 pandemic, the company faced an irreplaceable loss with the passing of its founder, Al Hajj Idris Miah.

Innovative Approach
Recognizing the environmental challenges associated with traditional clay bricks, Idris Group has taken a significant step forward by signing a contract to establish an advanced AAC Block manufacturing facility. This initiative aligns with the government's push for sustainable and energy-efficient building materials.
Diversification
As part of its expansion strategy, Idris Group is establishing a Mozzarella Cheese Production Unit and a Whey Protein Production Unit within its existing milk processing facility. Furthermore, the group has embarked on setting up a state-of-the-art drinking water bottling plant.
